If you enjoyed G.A.M.E. in 2010. Then you will enjoy The SEQUEL!

Three Battle Games are in the works right now.

Garik and Broton will be captaining: Romans vs Barbarians 2
... Each Captain will pick three non-magic classes for a smash battle.
Broton earned the right for first pick, he chose: Barbarians.

There will be a Peasant battle-
The two peasant teams will be: The Potato Farmers versus the Sugar Barons.
Each team will be fighting to burn down there opposing team's village.

Castle Smashers:
We will be constructing a fort on site. There will be two different siege scenarios. One full class and one melee. I will be looking for multiple captains to lead each type of charge. Defending and attacking. Victorious captains will receive a prize.

Saturday morning sustenance will be provided the start your fuel tanks for the day.

Saturday's feast will be pulled pork sandwiches.

Night time events:

Friday Night:
We will be playing Amtgard Jeopardy. Brush up on your wiki. Prizes will be given to winners.

Saturday Night we will have a bonfire and bardic in the same fashion as we did for G.A.M.E. (see amtwiki page)

The idea behind this event came about after Starmount's visit to Gathering of the Clans 2009.

Inspired with events seen and discussions over a 24 hour car drive. We realized that not everyone can make a 900 - 1,500 mile trip or even for an inter-kingdom event. The team expanded on the potential of bringing an event to all the small groups across our area of the country. Our hope is to attract as many people as possible to make a trip ranging from three to five hours to spend a weekend full of events both new and old. To take some of the ideas home and expand on them to suit your park. The main benefit for this camping event will be for folks from all over the area to get together trade ideas and be able to discuss concepts with more time than one would have at an event that was day tripped.

This event is going to be a one shot deal. Come see what all the fun will be about!

Events:

1.)Spell Ball launching Contest, this is a two part competition.

-There is a human powered (throwing) for distance.
-A mechanical means, any method that is NOT combustible

Prize has yet to be determined.

2.)Joust competition

An Amtgard versions of a target obstacle course.

A day of contests, games and feast to celebrate our 10th anniversery

Rakis is the premier Amtgard Jugging event of the year.

THROW IN THE SNOW 6

Febuary 6, 2010 at Squaw Creek Park Marion, IA. in prairie oak lodge. There will be signs in the park showing you where to go.
Gate cost is $10.00.

Gate opens at 11:00am
Battlegame start at 1:30p.m.
Feast starts at 4:30p.m.

Feast,
Starters- salad, fruit cocktail, and rolls.
Main Dish- Smoked Ham (if you can not eat pork please let me know we will have chicken avaliab).
Served with corn, green beans, and potatoes.
Dessert- cherry pie, pumpkin cheesecake, and plain cheesecake.

Battlegame,
This year's battlegame will be a modified capture the flag played on the massive open field next to the lodge. For you WoW geeks out there think Arathi Basin, but larger and better and with 2 yes 2 traction catapults that can be used. That is all that can be said.... for now. Also help is needed with construction of various items. If you would like to help please let me know.
